Sorry, maybe I didn't explain well enough: The problem I'm trying to
get at here isn't the amount of DPMI memory available (at the time I
ran that go32-v2 I had dosemu.conf set for 8mb of dpmi memory, so 7744
seems eminently reasonable to me), but the complete absence of DPMI
swap space.

This machine has 16mb of physical ram, and when running on bare dos (i.e.,
not dosemu) I DO get a reasonable value of the swap space.

Another question: I just tried using make (make 373b from the mirror
at oak.oakland.edu) under dosemu and it crashes with a floating point
error. Now, when I first tried gcc (or any gcc-compiled program) under
dosemu they all did the same, so I added "set 387=N" and "emu387=
c:\djgpp\bin\emu387.dxe" and having done that gcc and other programs
now work, but make still croaks. Anybody got any thoughts on this one?
