It's better to use forward slashes (D:/IANS/DJGPP/V2/INCLUDE).  If you 
use backslashes, use them in pairs, like this:

	D:\\IANS\\DJGPP\\V2\\INCLUDE

This is NOT the cause for ``missing separator'', but you already got 
replies on that one.
