I'm trying to get going on djgpp and I'm trying to figure out which text 
editor would be best to use. It said in the text provided with all the 
djgpp stuff I d/led that lots of people use Emacs for DOS (never even 
knew there was a DOS version). 
Anyways, I looked for it and it said that in v18 they took out support 
for C/C++. I know I could just use EDIT or PICO or something like that, 
but I'd really like to use something a little better. 
On another topic, is there a shareware/freeware Macro Assembler out 
there? I really don't want to spend $125 for MASM 6.0

Thanks in advance for the help... My old compiler was a TCLITE 1.0 from 
Borland that came with a book I bought. I'm trying to make a 3D game. I 
have all the knowhow, but I need the software to do it in...
