(fwd) Message-Id: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII With regard to the debate over EXE-file size, I could point out that C++ is a language intended for large-scale software projects. It would seem rational that the compiler is geared towards this type of work. Note that if you compile a "plain" C version of the "Hello World" program, it is considerably smaller. About a tenth of the size, in fact. - Andy | Andrew Molyneux Internet: molyneua AT cs DOT man DOT ac DOT uk | University of Manchester Tel : (+44)161-485-3291 | REAL programmers write a=b!=4?b%2?c:d:e without even | thinking about it :-)
