On my 4Mb PC with MSDOS and Dblspace any file compiled by gcc freezes (with loss of keyboard) when run in raw memory: a swap file of 0 bytes is left after reset (well I've a notebook, so it's switched off then on again). This occurs with the official version of CWSDPMI, but not with the beta 3 release. I only noticed this because Hfield on the delorie site has CWSDPMI beta 3 in it. What's even more amusing is that if a program is run with CWSDPMI beta 3 first, and then you swap beta 3 with the official release, the official release works for later runs, even though the memory is raw. Raw memory = no HIMEM/EMM Sengan
