Hard to write code, but *real* hard to get it accidentally >wrong (well, except for bad programming :-( ) That's very good to hear. :) As for bad programming, there are two kinds... logical errors, which are easily debugged, and exotic errors, such as memory leakage and stack overflows, which are far, far harder. Speaking of those, who would I talk to about gdb's apparent inability to interface with the __dpmi_set_debug_watchpoint() call? Charles, or you, or the GNU folks? Also, do the watchpoints thus set function only in a debugging environment, or should they also break the program when you are running it normally? Neither is working for me... TIA John
