To visit, point your favorite Web browser to this URL: http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/v2faq/faq.html (There is no link yet from the main FAQ page, but there probably will be in the near future.) A lot of effort went into making the FAQ easily searchable for your problems, by extensive cross-indexing of every useful piece of information in the body of the FAQ. So if you have a specific problem or question, please begin by going directly to the Program Index (if your problem is related to a specific program) or to the more general Topic Index, and search there for anything appropriate (a link to both indices can be found on the first page of the FAQ). Please give me feedback about your experience in finding answers to your questions. Beginning with this version of the FAQ, it is automatically generated in several formats from the same source file. Currently, the following formats are supported: Info, HTML, and plain ASCII; more will be added in the future. If you prefer to browse the FAQ locally, you can get the file faq200b.zip which includes the FAQ in all the supported formats; the source files and the tools required to generate the above formats are in faq200s.zip. A link from the first page of the FAQ at the above URL allows to download these two distributions right now (soon, they should also be in the SimTel/vendors/djgpp/v2 directory on SimTel mirrors). Read the file `readme.faq' in the above distributions after you unzip them, for further details on installation procedures. As usual, if you have any comments on the contents of the FAQ or on the way it is produced from the source files, feel free to drop me a note or post to the newsgroup. Last but not least, I'd like to thank everybody who helped making the new FAQ better by providing feedback about previous versions. (People who did that will find their names at the end of the FAQ.)
