Trying to compile file utilities 3.12 with -D_POSIX_SOURCE set after
first removing !_POSIX_SOURCE exclusion from <sys/config.h> leads to
a tangled web that I have not the skill to resolve.  Instance, starting
to compile libfu.a, the first warning is in getdate.y line 888, can't
find the storage size of structure timeb.  If HAVE_SYS_TIMEB_H is defined,
{it is} then refer to <sys/timeb.h> instead of using the identical thing
in getdate.y.  But it never sees the structure in timeb.h because it is
included only if _POSIX_SOURCE is not defined.  Someone would have to be
intimately familiar with both sources to decide issues like that.

The Alexandrian direct cut looks better and better.
