I suggest waiting for v2.0, which should be out any day now.

For v1.12, that is explained in the FAQ (faq102.zip from the same place 
you get DJGPP), Chapter 3.  For v2.0, the README file will probably 
explain this at first, until there is a version of FAQ for v2.0.
