When compiling a program using -O2 with GCC 2.6.3 and GCC 2.7.2, I get similar-size executables, but 2.7.2 with -O6 produces a rather larger one (30%+ size increase). What optimizations account for this? does 2.7.2 inline functions when it can with -O6? /----------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Orlando A.
