I have kind of the same problem.... I can compile, link, and execute in DOS using V2
with LD.exe from 1.11m5  (LD.exe from V2 gives errors... memory exausted, cannot read symbol.... 
etc) When I try to do the same from a DOS box in WIN3.1,  it just goes, and goes, and goes, and 
never, ever, stops (I let it go for 3 hours just to see what would happen!!!)  I tried to use 
go32-V2, but got the 'cannot find go32/v1' error.  

The program is from the RSXWDK system whello.cpp.  Like I said, it compiles fine in plain dos,
but not the dos box..

Any ideas???
