Getting Emacs to compile and link under V2 is pretty easy.  Getting it
to run is not easy.  We (a couple of the V2 and Emacs contributers) are
still hunting down bugs and other things that make the dumped Emacs not
work.

FYI, we are working with Emacs 19.30.70, a pretest of Emacs 19.31
which [my guess] should be released within a few months.  By that
time we may not have found all problems with the V2+Emacs combinations,
but there will be a zillion dos-specific improvements anyway, thanks
to Eli and others.
