Yeah, but I mean pico has a nice little display at the bottom of the screen telling you what keys do what.. I'd still rather use emacs. Emacs is just one of those things that's a total bitch to learn, but once you get the hang of it you'll never want to give it up-- even the older versions of it. Gee.. hard to learn, easy to use. Sorta reminds me of this programming language... Justin
