V2 was rewritten in order to improve it. Thus, it now requires less conventional memory to run and performs many operations with less CPU cycles. The library is also better able to handle a wide variety of system, so there are less restrictions on what you can run it on (except that you need dpmi, but we give you one of those also). Just because some Microcompanies make code worse with each release doesn't mean everyone else has to. I prefer making code better with each release. DJ
