Subject: .grd's and the lack thereof To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Wed, 29 Nov 1995 15:55:29 -0500 (EST) From: Justin Ward Okay here's the thing.. My programs can go into and properly function in high res gfx mode without any djgpp-related environment variables (go32, djgpp, go32tmp, etc). I was just wondering if this is the case with all systems, or if my system is just wierd. If it'll work on any system, why are the .grd's needed at all? And if my system is wierd, how so? I'm running a 486/66 dx2, 16 megs ram, Tandy VGA monitor (actual model number in case it matters is VGM-220), with a Tandy VESA-compatible video card. No, the CPU is not actually a Tandy, just the screen, video card, and keyboard.. it's a long story. Justin
