Subject: Building GNU make 3.74

Hello DJ,

I got your name from the NEWS file the gmake-3.74 distribution.
In the file it stated that you have built gmake for MS-DOS but
it fails to describe your build environment {Compiler}. Nor does
it provide any details, that I can find, for the dos platform.

So, I'm fishing for a little info before I jump into the fire...

What I would like to know is the following information:

    1. Compiler used. {MSC,Borland, version}
    2. Tips on building (function incompatibilities)
    3. Configuration, info if different from unix.
