To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (gcc) Date: Mon, 13 Nov 1995 21:10:12 -0500 (EST) From: Justin Ward Why can't I get libgrx installed properly??? I got the three files (the lib/src/etc, docs, and fonts) off oak.oakland.edu, as well as the patch. I put both zipfiles in d:\gcc (where all my djgpp stuff is, everything unzipped with -d -o like it's supposed to be).. I unzip the first three, followed by the patch. All the test programs don't compile because lots of functions don't seem to be in the library. Okay. I go into the source dir. After a lot of modifying of code that didn't compile properly the first time through, it eventually builds another library.. Still I get lots of errors about missing functions.. WHAT GIVES??? the lib that I compiled from the included source is 975,666 bytes. The lib that was in the zipfile is 195,428 bytes. This is version 1.03m1 of the lib.. Any ideas? Suggestions? comments? flames? anything at all? random thoughts running through your head?? PLease.. help me here..
