Many thanks to all those who contributed; it has worked wonderfully!! Primarily I use it to get the flat memory model over all the memory in my computer. Many of my programs for simulating communications systems require very large arrays. I'm presently considering upgrading to either Windows 95 (when it comes) or to Windows NT. I need better multitasking/task protection etc. and linux is not an option for me. What I've been reading lately has discouraged me from Windows 95 and has shifted the likelihood towards NT. However, as I understand it, DJGPP V1.x will not run under NT as it does for me in a DOS box under Windows 3.x. Will V2.0 work without restrictions under NT? Does anybody have any other comments on NT? Thanks in advance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Young Communications Research Centre Tel: (613) 998-2235 3701 Carling Avenue Fax: (613) 990-0316 Ottawa, Ontario Email: richard DOT young AT crc DOT doc DOT ca CANADA K2H 8S2
