From: stanb AT netcom DOT com (Stan Brown) Subject: Trying to get djgpp version of groff to work To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Tue, 30 May 1995 23:29:29 -0400 (EDT) I have downloaded the djgpp version of groff from (I think) the simtel archive. The problem that I am having is that I can't get it to work. I already have the djgpp version of gcc working. I installed that in \utils\gnu & set up the DJGPP environemt varibale to piont ther. I have now installed the groff pacjage in \usr\local. The groff package mentions that it requires a special version of go32. Do I really need 2 different versions of this ? Does the groff version need a environemtn file ? Can I use a differnt one ? or should I use the same one & just add groff entires ? When I set the system up so that it doens;t know naything about the gcc stuff I get error messages from the groff version of go32 telling me that my processor is in the wrong mode. Since the gcc version works I dont think this is the real problem. Could someone give mme some help here ?
