Subject: gcc and system lockups INFO


OK; it seems that there's a bug in libc.a (specifically, access())
that appears to hang the system when in raw or xms mode.  This does
not seem to occur in VCPI mode (qemm, 386max, emm386) or DPMI mode
(windows, qdpmi, OS/2) although it could under some cases.

To work around this for now, activate emm386 (or qemm, 386max,
windows, etc).

I'll work on it tonight, and if te fix indeed works, I'll upload a new
gcc263bn.zip and probably a dj112m4.zip (sigh).
