The minor ones were quite easy to solve (mainly header file alterations) however I think that I may have added to the major problems by doing this :-) Has anybody tried compiling MBase under djgpp ? If so could they mail me. If not, what are the major differences between disc I/O under djgpp and Unix ? As an aside I have compiler MBase under Linux before and ha no problems. The faults I have found so far involve the example programs, particularily the one that adds large numbers of records to the file using mb_add(), it adds about 12-15 records then freezes dead. I have also had some problems using vr when changing relations. Can anybody help ? can anybody suggest other free/shareware libraries that can do a similar job ? (indexed files with multiple indices on records etc.) Thanks Kevin P.S. this will be posted to the MBase mailing list when I find the address :-) --- +------------------------------+----------------------------+ | Kevin James Wheatley (HxPro) | Computer Science | | Mail cszkjw AT scs DOT leeds DOT ac DOT uk | School of Computer Studies | | Voice +44 (0)532 460668 | Leeds University | | +44 (0)113 246 0668 | United kingdom | +------------------------------+----------------------------+
