I have developed a small GUI that can be used with djgpp. Take a look to see
if it is sufficient for your needs.

Get the file pub/msdos/graphics/xv_pc17.zip at oak.oakland.edu.

I never used it for games, and it does not provide very fancy displays usually
found in games in the basic windows. But it imposes very few restrictions on what
you can do, and is very small.
