Subject: djgpp & vogl work together



Thanks to all who responded to my help-request !

As suggested by some of you I got a new version of
vogl from the ftp-site  asterix.inescn.pt (Portugal).
(vogl.arj in /pub/PC/devel , to unpack with unarj.exe).

The package has the libraries  libhersh.a and vogl.a 
already in it. I compiled only the examples after I
disabled the line : while (qread(&val) != REDRAW)
which is in each of the example files. As I was told,
this line is now longer up to date. Together with changing
to a driver (tseng4kn.grd or trid89n.grd) that suits my
card better, I have now very nice sample programs. Double
buffering etc. works excellent.

The vogl.arj package has the fonts already with it.
I have one little problem with it. Very few fonts
(for example "times.r") cause the programs that load
it to complain : cannot read font such and such.
Though the program fdisp.exe (for displaying the fonts)
can display these few fonts. The other fonts work very
good.
