The current version of djgpp is 1.11m5, meaning v1.11 plus five maintenance updates. V1.11 is based on gcc/g++ v2.57. > especially go32, cc, cc1, etc, *and* where they've been hiding... The version number 1.11 applies to all of these. Each has also been revised by (almost?) all of the five maint updates, so it would be best to think of these all as being at v1.11m5 even if one of them didn't actually get changed since maint 4 or maint 2. The general distribution site is oak.oakland.edu:pub/msdos/djgpp . > Version 2.xx???? Does this mean gdb has been ported? No. See above. It so happens that GDB has recently been ported as is available as a BETA test(or was that ALPHA, DJ?). The version is 4.12a(for ALPHA?). DJ's ALPHA/BETA software is at ftp.cygnus.com:pub/dj . User contributed items are at: omnigate.clarkson.edu:/pub/msdos/djgpp/pub , but this site is notoriously hard to connect to during business hours. It is often easier to track down the individual author's distribution site or wait until the wee hours to connect to omnigate. Regards, salbrech AT eecs DOT nwu DOT edu (Steve Albrecht)
