I understand that I should be able to to create this on my PC, but have not been able to find a combination of (tex, macros, fonts, dvi2ps/fonts-for-same, getting indexes and foot notes right, and all the other things that seem to go wrong,...) set of tools that I can use to do this. I am sure part of the "problem" is me, since I am not a day-to-day user of tex,... . I have found most of the pieces that I think I need (mostly from my simtel CD), but it is beyond me to get them working together. I would like to beg for the following: Could someone who knows how to do this post the names of ALL the pieces that are needed (including where they can be FTPed from), how to install them, what environment variables need to be setup, and then the ACTUAL command line that need to be typed to get me from the texinfo.tex files to a postscript file. OR Even better (am I dreaming here ??) just create the PS files, and include them (zipped ) in the normal FTP sites where we get the rest of DJGPP goodies. Thanks DJD for the BEST PD SW around.!
