These sound like pieces of a multi-volume archive file created by ARJ.
I haven't seen djgpp distributed this way, but I've always thought that
it would be a good way of breaking up the large files.  Assuming that these
are ARJ files, the unarchiver you need is ARJ241.EXE, available in the
msdos.archiver directory at Simtel20 an mirror sites.
