Then I recompiled go32 using TCC1.01 (found it's neglectably smaller - 1K, but also found that the makefile is no longer using .lnk files which made linking a bit tedious - I reintroduced go32.lnk and debug32.lnk) But interestingly my application now starts without the above error message and everything seems fine (as far as VCPI is concerned). I would recommend the person who reported this recent "GrSetmode: unknown adapter type in driver" error to try recompilation of go32 under TCC 1.01 (if possible) and see if the error is gone. I don't know what it is but it may be some run time library name collision, or some weird macro problem/register initialization where different Turbo Cs behave differently.  --Chris Christoph P. U.
