Hi,

   Last night I "installed" the 2.4.0 files on my system, and when I compiled
my 750,000+ line program I noticed something that was interesting: My program
compiled extremely fast compared to 2.2.2 (and even 2.3.3)... 

   has anyone else noticed considerable speed improvements with 2.4.0?
   
   I think that this freak'd me out so much, that my program seemed to run
   faster as well...

   I guess I just was wondering what the differences are between 2.2.2 and
   2.4.0...
