Subject: Link order problem

If you're linking .o's, order is not significant.  It IS significant
where .a's are concerned.  When the linker encounters a .a, it only
brings in modules that are needed AT THAT POINT in the link.  Any .o's
after the library are out of luck if they need more modules from that
library.
