It sounds like this is a pressing > need. IMO, there is no pressing need to release setup.exe from HEAD - there are still bugs in it. Pierre's patch can be applied on the stable branch (setup-200207 i think) though. Then a new 2.249.2.x version of setup will be released which cures the permissions problem.
