Is Rob still maintaining the pthreads related stuff ? In an other message he resigned from cygserver. Does this mean pthreads too ? I have one patch pending that implements cancellation that has not been reviewed yet and i have 2 others in my queue, one regarding pthread_keys(TLS) that is IMHO neccessary if gcc will switch to posix threads (i have already build my gcc-2.95.3-5 with posix threads and got no problems yet) and a new mutex implementation that is more posix compliant and makes no distinction between 9x and NT. I would be glad to get these into the official DLL. 2. Why is my new-cygwin1.dll build from source about 100k smaller than the official cygwin1.dll ? Thomas
