I tried Chris's last patch (configure.tar.bz2) and both Cygwin and Insight built perfectly. I even rebuilt both again using the new cygwin1.dll with no troubles....... Also, all the Cygwin make check tests pass..... # of expected passes 85 # of expected failures 17 For info, I build using Win2k. I do not know why I am seeing differing results? Trevor
