Sorry, if that >was not clear. It was clear but both solutions are workarounds. They can't be checked into sources.redhat.com. I am hashing this out with DJ. It is the usual target vs host considerations. Cygwin is a complicated target because you're building the "OS" along with the tools. My recent patch is one of two or three possible solutions. I have to see which one DJ prefers or if he has another solution. cgf
