Not to barge in here, but perhaps you might want to tap the knowledge of 
Steve M. (The MS employee who posts to the main list from time to time) 
on this one.  He was quite helpful in getting a bounty of information 
regarding the Clear Type situation.  Perhpas he can get some feedback on 
this situation from the Windows developers?
