Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit After toying with i686-pc-cygwin/newlib/libm/Makefile and getting rid of the machine subdirectory and the machine/libc.a reference I get make[2]: *** No rule to make target `regcomp.o', needed by `new-cygwin1.dll'. Stop. So, where, what and when is regcomp and where did it go? A `find ../src -name regcomp\*' finds nothing. Where, what and when is newlib/libm/machine/? Is it supposed to be there? It hasn't been there previously. Earnie. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com
