Thanks for the most useful packages of Cygwin.

May I offer a small suggestion? Include version information in the build
of Cygwin.dll so Windows can show it in Properties

I recently ran into trouble upgrading to gcc-2.95.2, and thought I
should check cygwin1.dll.  Come to find out it differs in size from the
release you link to as the January 15, 1999 upgrade.  I got that one and
it didn't work. Now I wonder what the various sources are for these (I
never did use snapshots, so these are either from cygnus.com or Mumit
Khan, still checking....)

It would be so much easier if version information showed in Windows
Properties.
