Well the automount-root (on reflection this is probably a confusing name because it sounds like it has something to do with "/") certainly is a change but I think that it has the ability to do the right thing in a way that makes sense. I regret that CYGWIN=binmode behavior ever polluted disk mounts. That wasn't what I intended and was, from my perspective, a bug. -chris
