On Dec 31 I checked in a change to mmap.cc to use private classes
instead of templates, so that we could remove the dependency on the
C++ libraries when building cygwin1.dll.  This also reduced the size
of the complete cygwin source snapshots and the build time required to
build cygwin from scratch.

If you have a cygwin application that uses mmap, I would appreciate it
if you could download any snapshot[*] after Dec 31 1998 and verify
that your application still works with this new version.  Note that I
didn't change the mmap logic itself, just the overhead that keeps
track of what's mmapped and what isn't.
