It does have this at build time: #if OPENSSL_VERSION_NUMBER >= 0x00904000L #define READ_X509_KEY(fp, key) PEM_read_X509(fp, key, NULL, NULL) #else #define READ_X509_KEY(fp, key) PEM_read_X509(fp, key, NULL) #endif which AFAICT is OK (right?). Generated config.h has RSA, IDEA, and RC5 support disabled. Still haven't found something to try to connect to, but AFAICT everything should be OK according to what you said in your email.
