I think this another case of the "purpose" vs. "installed-by-default" confusion. I can see Corinna's pov: "Since new packages are not installed by default, then we can just add 'foo' as a normal release, and folks can test it..." But Robert is right -- it's new, it's (relatively) untested; it needs to be a test release. Let's not talk about the restructured auto* packages... --Chuck
