Rebuilt using cygwin-1.1.3-1 and binutils-20000722-1. This one is ready to go into 'latest'. However, I think the entire zlib package should be removed from 'latest' and put into 'contrib'. (BTW, how does setup handle stuff in 'contrib'?) libpng-1.0.8-1 relative to -1.0.8rc1-1, this has been synchronized to the official 1.0.8 release, and I've tweaked the documentation. Rebuilt using cygwin-1.1.3-1 and binutils-20000722-1. This one is also ready to go into 'latest'. Again, I think the entire libpng package should be removed from 'latest' and put into 'contrib'. jbigkit-1.2-2 relative to -1, this has documentation tweaks only. Rebuilt using cygwin-1.1.3-1 and binutils-20000722-1. This one is ready to go into 'contrib' jpeg-6b-2 relative to -1, this has documentation tweaks only. Rebuilt using cygwin-1.1.3-1 and binutils-20000722-1. This one is ready to go into 'contrib' tiff-3.5.5-2 relative to -1, this has documentation tweaks only. Rebuilt using cygwin-1.1.3-1 and binutils-20000722-1. This one is ready to go into 'contrib' DJ (or Chris), please put these packages into the appropriate places on sourceware. Once they've propagated to the mirrors, I'll create separate official announcements for each. I'll post them here on cygwin-apps, so that you (DJ or Chris) can post them on cygwin-announce, since I don't think I can post directly to that list. However, there's one possible snag: how will setup handle stuff in the 'contrib' directory? -- right now 'contrib' is empty so there's no way I can test it for myself... Thanks, Chuck
