Folks,

I've written the design document for the re-worked RPM installer
design; I've posted it at:

This version hopefully addresses all of the points that were brought
up in our previous discussion.  I've posted to the cygwin-apps mailing
list because I believe it's a more appropriate forum than the general
Cygwin mailing list.

Again, I want to reiterate that I have an almost-working version which
hopefully will be updated to conform to the final version of this
design document.  I intend to make the first implementation available
for download and review sometime in August.
