What filesystem is the drive formatted as: NTFS, ExFAT, FAT32, or other?

Try rerunning the xinit postinstall script as follows and report the failing 
command(s) and error messages:

	$ CYGWINFORALL=-A /bin/sh -vx /etc/postinstall/xinit.sh
