At the moment, this gets turned on if the top 2 bits of the layout ID are set, which really just means "non-Microsoft provided layout", which is perhaps too aggressive. It's probably a bug in xkeyboard-config that combination of options produces mapping that's messed up like that. > Suggestion? i) Explicitly set the X server keyboard layout you want using setxkbmap or the equivalent options. ii) Provide the information per [1] and I can add it to the set of layout autodetected by the server.
