TigerVNC provides the levels of performance necessary to run 3D and video applications, and it attempts to maintain a common look and feel and re-use components, where possible, across the various platforms that it supports. TigerVNC also provides extensions for advanced authentication methods and TLS encryption. Please note that, like other Cygwin graphical applications, these packages are X11-based. That means the client requires a running X server in order to start, and the server will allow accessing X programs or even entire X sessions remotely but not your Windows desktop. This release includes patches for CVE-2017-7392, CVE-2017-7393, CVE-2017-7394, CVE-2017-7395, and CVE-2017-7396: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438694 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438697 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438700 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438701 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1438703 -- Yaakov -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
