It exits immediately. Works great on cygwin32. If I load nslookup.exe in Dependency Walker, it says that if_nametoindex is missing in iphlpapi.dll, which is a Windows DLL. This doesn't happen with the 32 bit version which works fine. Just a few minutes ago, I installed and updated every module including bind-utils and verified the problem still occurs. cygwin version is: CYGWIN_NT-5.2 qd0032v1 1.7.32(0.274/5/3) 2014-08-13 23:06 x86_64 Cygwin Thank you, Terris $ cygcheck /bin/nslookup D:\cygwin64\bin\nslookup.exe D:\cygwin64\bin\cygcrypto-1.0.0.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygwin1.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\KERNEL32.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygz.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cyggssapi_krb5-2.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygk5crypto-3.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygkrb5support-0.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygintl-8.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygiconv-2.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygkrb5-3.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygcom_err-2.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cyggcc_s-seh-1.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygidn-11.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygreadline7.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygncursesw-10.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\USER32.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\GDI32.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cygxml2-2.dll D:\cygwin64\bin\cyglzma-5.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\ADVAPI32.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\RPCRT4.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\Secur32.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\IPHLPAPI.DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\msvcrt.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\PSAPI.DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\WS2_32.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\WS2HELP.dll -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
