The following small idea might add some interest, show the approaching tipping point, and might even motivate some people to help with some 64 bit packages. Assuming you have the number of packages handy, you could replace the above wording with something like this: The 64 bit Cygwin distribution now has $num_pk_64 packages, compared with $num_pk_32 in the 32 bit version.
