I am mainly interested in Python stability, and that the scripts do not return a bad status code to the calling process; I can wait for a proper fix for other applications. Otherwise, I can attemp to build a patched version, but I suppose the toolchain also needs rebuilding and I'm not familiar with that. What is the status of the patches? Have they been approved?
