I meant that in my recollection, when I need to rebase, I get messages about "can't create fork". But that's not what I said at all. So this is an entirely different error, but I still rebased, first thing, just as a SWAG. I got the emacs from your site, thanks, and I'll keep an eye on it and see how it goes. I'll keep you posted.
