On his recommendation, I ran cygcheck which reported: cygcheck: track_down: could not find cygsasl2-2.dll Knowing what was missing, I was able to find this post: http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2012-03/msg00454.html The follow-up by Ken Brown claims that the library should already be a requirement, but I'm apparently at least the second person to have this same problem.
